9th Annual Beeper Egg Hunt!
11:00 AM -2:30 PM
Midtown Terrace Playground
280 Olympia Way, San Francisco, CA 94131
The Beeper Egg Hunt allows children who are blind or visually impaired to take part in the traditional activity of an egg hunt. Specially designed beeping eggs are hidden throughout the park; children hear the sound, find the eggs and turn them in for eggs filled with candy.
This year, many families and friends joined us for a fun-filled event with crafts, face painting, live folk and bluegrass music from the Foggy Gulch Band, a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, a BBQ lunch, visits with live bunnies from Save-a-Bunny; Hercules the Wonder Horse, Guide Dogs for the Blind, The Great Blindini and of course, an Egg Hunt.
